The target of the course is to give an introduction to how SAS can be used in relation to Business Intelligence.
The course is directed at the students at the ITCO-study, who are taking the course Business Intelligence. decision trees, linear regression and neural networks.) The material consists of 9 chapters – from basic introduction to the program to more advanced development of data mining models, e.g. The course focuses on students taking the elective course Data Mining. Introduction course for SAS EG with the target to give a basic understanding of the point-and-click based part of SAS EG.
SAS Interactive Matrix Language for Empirical Finance. The course will focus on loops, double loops, if-sentences, simple t-tests and production of random numbers. The course is a further development of the course in Applied Econometrics Methods. SAS Interactive Matrix Language for Empirical Finance SAS Interactive Matrix Language for Applied Econometrics Methods II. The course material contains an introduction along with examples of each subject and assignments with solutions. Finally it will be shown how to make regression analysis by using IML and how to save matrixes in datasets. Furthermore it will be taught how to manually produce matrices in SAS and a number of different matrix functions will be demonstrated. The course contains an introduction to importing external datasets into matrixes in SAS. The course is an introduction to Interactive Matrix Language (IML) in SAS, which has been adjusted to the course Applied Econometrics Methods. SAS Interactive Matrix Language for Applied Econometrics Methods It will be taught how to sort a dataset, work with data steps, if-then-else functions and different types of loops. Learn about the SAS 9.2 user interface, library references, production of simple and conditional output along with basic descriptive statistics. The course material contains an introduction along with examples of each subject and assignments with solutions.Īn introduction course to basic SAS procedures. Finally the course will teach how to improve output using ODS Graphics. Furthermore it will be shown how to make an ANOVA test in SAS and perform a complete regression analysis. The target of the course is to teach how to make simple statistics, confidence intervals and how to make tests of hypotheses on different samples.
This material is for the statistical course in SAS. Below the course material from current and previous courses is listed:
